Abadoo s Banana Bread

1-3/4 c ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR

2 t BAKING POWDER

1/4 t SODA

3/4 t SALT

1/3 c SHORTENING

2/3 c SUGAR

3 ea EGGS

1 c BANANAS(ABOUT 2 OR 3 MEDIUM)

COMBINE FLOUR, BAKING POWDER, BAKING SODA AND SALT AND SET ASIDE. IN LARGE MIXING BOWL ADD SHORTENING, SUGAR AND BANANAS; MIX WELL. ADD FLOUR MIXTURE 1/2 CUP AT A TIME UNTIL WELL BLENDED. BEAT EGGS IN A SEPARATE BOWL; THEN FOLD INTO THE MIXTURE. BAKE IN 350 DEGREE OVEN FOR 50 MINUTES IN 8X4X2-1/2 GREASED PAN. MAKES 1 LOAF.
