Cracked Wheat Bread

5 c Flour

3 T Sugar

4 t Salt

2 pk Yeast (2 Tbsp)

1-1/2 c Water

1/2 c Milk

3 T Margarine

1 c Cracked wheat

In a large bowl mix 2 cups flour with the sugar, salt, and yeast. Combine the water, milk,

and margarine in a saucepan and warm to 120-130 F. Gradually add the liquid to the dry

ingredients and bat for 2 minutes. Add the cracked wheat and beat for another 2 minutes.

Stir in enough flour (about 3 cups) to make a stiff dough. Place on a lightly floured board

and knead for 8-10 minutes. Place dough in an oiled bowl and flip the dough so all sides

are lightly covered with oil. Cover with a towel and put in a warm draft-free place to rise for

about 1 hour. Punch down the dough and divide in two. Put into two 8 1/2\
